Station 293: Haiku Dream Sequence

Dark, brooding, moody
Run down and anarchical
Crowded, foreign, new

Collecting, scouting
Navigating the wastes, keen
Searching for treasures

Treasures to reuse
Treasures to repair, refresh
Treasures recycled

Sorting, filtering
Staying inconspicuous
Untold potential

Potential danger
Bristling, omnipotent
Potent denizens

Blend, intermingle
Float, glide, shroud, and misdirect
Arrive, safe haven

An old face, same voice
Different feelings, gestures
Ready to explore

A disguise, a fit
A blue and black masquerade
Foreign, to blend in

A smile, a tout
Conjuring your own costume
Complementary

Down the open hatch
Looking up, waiting, patient
Old flickering lights

Concealing, shrouding
Both magicians in own right
Becoming ghostly

Trailing very close
Avoiding crowded contact
Roaming the night streets

A noise, commotion
A closed place that shouldn’t be
A docile arrest

Glancing, moving on
As if nothing had occurred
Bristled, all the same

Stop, a broken path
Detached ribbons, still floating
A dark pit below

Lining up behind
All frozen, ready to fall
Awaiting collapse

Propelling forward
Latching on, becoming one
Conjure and hover, fly

Extending ribbons
Stretching forwards as it sinks
Relatching, saving
