If you live somewhere such as the United States, you may have wondered where today’s post was. If you live somewhere such as Japan, you’d wonder what I’m even talking about.
Last Sunday, five days ago (138hrs 15mins ago from the posting of this, in fact), communities that followed the Daylight Saving Time tradition switched their clocks ahead by one hour.
Since the eighteenth station follows Coordinated Universal Time, which does not observe the effects of Daylight Saving Time, what this means is that the weekly posts will now be published an hour later until Nov 4th, 2018, when Daylight Saving Time ends.
So if you, for example, live on the East Coast of the U.S., posts will appear at 9pm instead of 8pm. On the West Coast of the U.S., 6pm instead of 5pm. And so forth.
If your community does not follow Daylight Saving Time, you needn’t be concerned at all. In fact, you needn’t have read this far into this post. Bravo to you.
